Veggie Detox

Ok..... The last detox of the month and you can do it!! This s a vegetable detox. They will clean you out faster than the fruit ones! Beets are good for iron, while carrots assist with sight. Kale gives you nutrients while spinach is great for your colon and keeping free radicals out of the body. Cucumbers are anti-inflammatory and will give you energy throughout the day, in the meantime sweet potatoes will provide vitamins and dietary fiber. Lastly onions will help the blood flow and keep toxins away. Don't worry... this a drink that can be consumed in three days versus the average one day. Feel free to combine your recipes or even change them a little to suit your needs.

Ingredients: 1 Blender/Juicer, 1/4 onion, 2 beets, 4 carrots, 1 cucumber, 1 cup of spinach, 8 kale leaves, 1 sweet potato, 12-18oz spring water

Directions: For this recipe you may leave all your veggies unpeeled (your choice). Rinse all veggies off thoroughly. Place veggies in the blender/juicer, Add 12oz of water and blend. If juice is still thick add more water. Blend until smooth and strain. You may freeze the pulp for next time. Enjoy :)
