Bananas are high in potassium and that helps deliver to the body's circulatory system. They contain the vitamin B6 that regulates blood glucose levels and helps to suppress cranky moods. Bananas are also high in iron to help those with anemia. Bananas also release tryptophan which converts to serotonin that promotes happiness and regulates constipation.
Coconut water helps to build the blood lost by menstruation. With all things it is best to give it time. Everything should regulate by the third cycle.
Ingredients: 1 Ripe Papaya, 2 Ripe or over ripe Bananas, 1 16oz can of coconut water, 1 Blender
Directions: Slice Papaya in half. Remove the seeds and save for later. Remove the skin and cut into pieces. Add to the blender. Peel bananas, break them into pieces and place them in the blender. Add coconut water and blend. Store in airtight containers like mason jars. This recipe yields about 24oz. You can choose to consume 2, 4, 6, or 8oz per day.
