Papaya Hair Mask

We will end the month of papaya with a hair mask. We all know that hair masks help to condition, strengthen and fortify the hair and scalp. The main benefits of papaya for the hair are; dandruff relief, conditioning and hair growth. The recipe listed below will give you all the tools you need to create the perfect hair mask to use weekly.

Ingredients: 1 Papaya with seeds, 1oz Neem Powder, 1oz Henna Powder, 1oz Coconut, Olive and Avocado Oil each, 10 drops of Rosemary essential oil Mixing Bowl, Food Processor or Blender, Plastic Cap

Directions: Cup papaya and place it and the seeds in the food processor or blender. Blend until everything is mashed or a chunky consistency. Add oils and neem and henna powder and mix well. Stir in papaya.

To Use: Part hair into 4 sections. Apply liberally to the scalp, top and underside of each section. Use horizontal sections and then vertical sections to ensure mask is applied everywhere. Massage scalp for 20 minutes paying attention to dandruff areas and short areas. Apply plastic cap and sit under a warm dryer for 15-20 minutes. Rinse and use your normal shampoo routine. You may do all of this and sleep with the mask overnight.
