This week we will explore the healing properties of the butters and what they do. This next series of butters are targeted to induce relaxation of the mind, body, joints and muscles.
Shea Butter is like magic. We all know that it is beneficial to the skin, hair and nails. It is loaded with vitamins A and K and has anti-inflammatory properties. It fights signs of premature aging and relieves wind and sun burn. Great to moisturize the hair and scalp, also condition the cuticles of the nails.
Mango Butter is a beauty staple. It has a natural source of vitamin A to assist with reducing fine lines and wrinkles of the skin. It is great for sensitive skin and giving it an overall youthful appearance.
Kombo Butter is also known as African nutmeg. This butter hails from the eastern part of Ghana, Africa. It is produced from the seeds of a tropical tree Pycnanthus angolensis. It has an earthy, nutty smell. Its loaded with antioxidants that helps cell regeneration. It is high in myristoleic acid, which is used to treat all kinds of muscle and joint pain. It is a reddish brown color and is softer than shea and mango butters.
Coconut Oil- Produced in the Philippines. This oil is solid at temperatures below 75 degrees. It has many benefits from using it as a skin hydrator to conditioning the hair to even using in foods. This is a multipurpose oil.
Olive Oil is the only oil that can penetrate deep into the hair stand. It is anti-inflammatory and full of anti oxidants making it ideal for the skin. As with everything else it is great to condition your hair, skin and scalp.
Almond Oil helps to rid the eyes of dark circles. It removes impurities and dirt while eliminating dead cells.
Grape Seed Oil helps with blood circulation. It comes from one of the healthiest fruits...grapes! The seeds are pressed to make the oil. This oil minimizes hair loss, balances skin color and helps to heal problematic skin such as acne.
Botanical Oil is a blend of carrier oils that are high in fatty acids with omegas 3 6 and 9, vitamins A, B6, B12, D, E, K and other vitamins to increase the skins youthful appearance and aid in the hair's growth.
These butters are great for massage nut also great for everyday use for the skin, scalp and hair.
Sleep is a blend of shea, mango and kombo butters, coconut, almond and olive oils. Ylang Ylang helps to induce relaxation, fights signs of aging and lowers blood pressure. Lavender is to help disinfect the skin, relax the mind and muscles. Amber for a better sleep, strengthen the hair and skin, sharpens the memory and reduces inflammation. Peppermint Tea Tree is one of my favorite butters to massage with it is blended with shea and mango butters, coconut, almond and olive oils. Peppermint is cooling and soothing. It gives the body that open window feeling everywhere it touches. With its antimicrobial and antispasmodic properties its great for helping with dandruff and circulation. Tea Tree that is antiviral, it helps to relieve cold and flu symptoms. Its boosts the immune system, helps with dandruff and stimulates blood circulation. Magnificent has a blend of shea and mango butters, almond and botanical oils. Lavender helps to relax and wind down. It helps to produce healthy skin and relives joint and muscle pain. Cedar has antiseptic properties and helps with hair loss. Cedar is antiseborrhoeic, this is beneficial for eczema and dry scalp. Sage to help with insomnia and balances the hormones. It also has antifungal, antimicrobial, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Ylang ylang to help relax and reduce the appearance of scars and wound healing. Neroli is loaded with shea and kombo butters, grape seed and coconut oils. Neroli is a powerhouse essential oil, It comes from the bitter orange tree. It is a great fighter of depression and an aphrodisiac. It treats wounds and helps regenerate new cells. Ylang Ylang has been added to relieve pain, improve mood and enhance the libido. Tips: For massaging, make sure the skin is clean. If you just got out of the bath this is the perfect time for a massage. Apply butter to areas in need of massage. Use your finger tips to apply pressure to the area and rub in a circular motion outward.
