Body Detox


March is the detox month. We will continue this week with a body detox. A Body detox can be great for the skin, hair and nails. This is one of the best ways to remove the bulk of toxins from the body along with proper eating and exercise. A detox will help with a healthy way of life, clearer skin and most of all a true clean on the body.

Ingredients: 1 PET container, 1oz Epsom salt, 1oz Himalayan salt, 1oz Mineral dead sea salt, 1oz almond oil (or any hydrating oil of your choice), essential oils: fir, fennel, hyssop, patchouli, and helichrysm, optional: candles, rose petals, bath pillow and a soothing playlist

Directions: Mix all salts together and add oil. Follow up with equal amounts of essential oil. Do not use more than 4 drops of each essential oil. You will want to detox with a clean body so make sure you shower beforehand. Fill the tub with water as hot as you can stand it. Pour half of the mixture into the tub and allow to fill. If you have candles light them around the tub. Add rose petals to the water. Turn lights off and get into the tub. Allow the body to soak for at least 30 minutes. When finished soaking turn the shower on and rinse off. Follow up with a favorite moisturizer. You may detox up to 5 times per month.
